I have started to add definition to the elements of the oven, and added tone to the drawers behind the man in the pink shirt. His apron now has a more acceptable tie chord. I have also started the feet of the man furthest away with his arms folded.
Even though the stout man in shadow is dark in tone I shall add highlights to his jumper ofter this second rendition is dry. His apron chord looks strangely prominent, as it is not painted, but this will blend more into the background with tone added. I am a little uneasy about the perspective of the drawers, especially with the vertical but I can adjust this later. It may be that, because the canvas is at an angle it has been distorted.
