I took this photo at a different time of day which gives a better representation of the true colour. When taken later with low outside light and artificial light, the light reflects off the glossy surface of the oil.
I am underpainting some colour on the inside of the gondola and there are many different tones to be added which is not possible painting wet in wet, so the details will be added gradually as it dries. The details are more streaks of light as suggested by movement.
